One of these ideas was a newsletter - one that would highlight who we are and who our clients are - not just push products and specials (although we did mention a few - but just a few I promise). Raw vs Rendered Images - at a wedding

We have had many of our clients ask us recently about the difference between rendered portraits and raw images. Steve always loves to start his stories to our girls in this fashion so in honor of him...When I was a kid...photographers took almost the exact amount of images as they showed their clients. When my husband and I got married it was a big deal that our amazing photographer, Henry Glover, took over 300 images!!!! My dad being a wedding photographer himself was shocked - and after cleaning out our firebox this summer I know why he was - the bill to just to process those images was well over $300 - and that was only to be able to see the "raw images" YIKES!!!!!! No wonder my dad was shocked!!!! With his average wedding bringing in about $400 total there was no way he could afford to be that frivolous with his film (For those of you in the younger crowd - film is like the old time version of a memory card)! Anyway, that is why wedding photographers typically shot 120-150 images at a wedding and that was it!!!! Then came digital...Fast forward to our last wedding... a small wedding at the bride's home where we shot a total of 1194 usable images (yes usable that is after I deleted about 200 because they were too dark, blurry, or I am in the middle of the frame fixing someones hair) - WHAT A HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!! So how do we handled all of these images? Well the first wedding we did we "rendered" every image the bride saw - so we picked or favorite 150 images and spent hours photoshopping every detail of the images! we did this twice - because in the end the same 25 were chose over and over again - there were a few differences between the bride's family and the groom's but most of the same images were chosen over and over! However - brides would call back multiple times saying, "I know you took one of my sister and our Uncle Harry - I did not see it do you have that image?" and then Steve and I would "render" another few images and post to our website.

I found out quickly though that brides did not necessarily want a picture of their sister and Uncle harry but they needed to see it as it was a memory they had at the moment. So now I had a problem that needed a solution! Steve and I are very particular about the portraits that leave our studio - not because we are uppity but because in the days of digital cameras we want our clients to know that our images are worth the money they are paying - not only do we take time to take the portrait but we spend hours making them beautiful pieces of art to be enjoyed for generations. However to truly charge what we would need to "render" 1194 wedding images would make us out of everyone but Donald Trump's price range. So what to do what to do??????

So we are experimenting - We have decided to put up all the "RAW IMAGES" of our wedding on a secure website with a password given only to the bride and groom - of course they can share it with whomever they choose. These images are the usable photos that be used to create a "RENDERED PORTRAIT" Our brides can then see all of their choices and choose the images which become rendered.

PLEASE NOTE!!!!!

ANY image purchased from our studio for printing is Artist Rendered even if they are shown on the website only as a raw image !

I love Senior Season... and I especially love it becuase of sweet people like Katie. Katie was so quiet and reserved in the beginning of the session but as we dodged cars and watched as many crayons bravely gave up their lives for the perfect shot the true Katie came out!!!! Then the fun started - after hours of scouting all the perfect locations possible from Pelham through to Tallahassee we came back home exahusted and full of beautiful images!!!!! I can't believe you are old enough to be a senior Katie but you sure are one of the most beautiful ones I know!!!!!

I did not mean to cause so much confusion on the password to the proofs - here is how it works...

1. put in your email address - this email will be used to follow your order - it is not a specific one that we know already.

2. password: the password on all three days is the same it is the name of the director of the studio in all lowercase. The reason we do not just give you the password is so to help ensure the privacy of the dancers - this way only the people associated with the studio and their friends and family can acess the site.

What a privilege it was to be able to photograph this year's recital. Steve was thrilled to accept the challenge of photographing so much action in such a quick time!!! The dancers were amazing and hopefully these images will show just a glimpse of their beauty. You can find the proofs by going to our website and clicking on the word proofs which is located all the way to the left under the heading Blog and More.

It will take you to our proofing page. Simply click on the dance recital and enter your email address. Once you have entered your email you will be prompted for a password which is the the dance instructor's first name in all lowercase letters (After 30 years I am sure everyone knows it). You will then enter the first page of many. You can change pages at the top right of the screen. Each performance has a seperate screen. Steve was able to shoot over 1,000 images each night, specifically trying to get each dancer.

*** 2 things to note***

1. These images are performance images which means sometime the focus is slightly off and the lighting maybe harsh. However with any order which is placed online we will hand edit the images to enhance their quality as best as possible.

2. Although Steve made an attempt to catch every dancer at their best, it is not possible to predict and plan every move. So if somehow your little one's image was not of your favorite moment we are very sorry.

Because of these two considerations, we have drastically reduced our studio prices for these images. Image prices are:

4x6 images - $4.00 5x7 images - $7.00 8x10 images - $12.00

Meet Becca...

Oh Hapy Day!!!! Oh Happy Day!!!! God knows the desires of our heart...and in to our lives walked Becca. Becca was one of our beautiful brides a while back ( look at how beautiful she is...) and is now one of our new mommies (her newborn shots are coming). Becca just moved to Pelham with her wonderful family and in talking with her we realized that God was bringing us together for more than just more pictures. Becca has now begun working with us as a consultant (this is a fancy way of saying we have not come up with an official title for her yet). So far this means that after you call the studio, Becca will follow up with a phone consultation to help us know what is important to you. She will also be meeting with you to go over our packages and product offerings. The most important thing she is already doing is keeping us organized!!!!! She has already revolutionized our calendar and corrected my typos in our baby plans...and just wait - she comes armed with post-it notes and an organizer all the time! I LOVE IT!!!!! I finally feel like I can breather again. Anyway I am sure you will all love her as much as we do, but so you can feel like you know her (and "who her people are")here is a little Q&A with Becca.

Q- So Becca, "Who are your people?" (i just love pretending I am from here and saying things like that)

A- My handsome husband is Cody Shiver, we two precious little ones, L and J. My parents are Paul and Virgina Lea Rothwell from Jesup, GA. My wonderful in-laws are Rosemary and Turner Eubanks from Pelham and Dwayne and Kathy Shiver from Albany, GA.

Q- Where did you grow up?

A- Bullard, Texas. It's a small town outside of Tyler, Texas on Lake Palestine. Population: 890. So, yes Pelham is bigger than my home town.

Q- Ok, so how did you get to Georgia?

A- Hahaha! I used to tell people that God had a sense of humor and that's how I ended up in Georgia, but now I know that God had a divine plan. Basically, I graduated a year early from high school and attended college in Cleveland, Tennessee and eventually transferred to Georgia Southern University. Part of his plan for me included starting a campus ministry and investing in the lives of some great kids. Part of his plan was to make some amazing girl friends and walking life with them. And the best part of his plan thus far was meeting my husband and having our two babies.

Q- What did you major in?

A- Which one? Well... I changed my major 7 times in college, but eventually settled down with Geography, Sociology, and Business with a minor in Writing.

Q- Was it in your campus ministry where you learned administrative skills?

A- I was the events coordinator and assistant to the campus pastor. I think it's where I learned everything I know about my skills! My favorite things to do were idea exchange with the pastor and students. We could stay up for hours talking about events to do to draw students in or ways to market the ministry, then it was my job to make those ideas into reality. I was truly the face of the ministry and worked with the community and the school on a weekly basis. I wore so many hats; I had to quickly figure out my strengths and weaknesses. Organization- strength. Written and verbal communication - strength. One on One mentoring- strength. Preaching, Deep Philosophical Thoughts, Music, Political niceness- weakness. But, after college graduation, I was the office manager for a commercial construction company and that's where I gained a lot of business experience.

Q- So, you are going to bring your strengths to help Steve and Laurie?

A - You bet! Let's face the facts... In The Moment has exploded, BOOM! And to keep up with the demand, they need a little helping hand in some areas. If I can come in and do paper work to keep them taking beautiful pictures of your children, then only good things can come from that.

Q- You seem very verbal, is that something you grew into or have you always had a way with words and communication?

A- Oh, I can communicate! My older brother talked for me until I was about 3, but one day I started talking and it was all over from there. In junior high I started competing in speaking competitions and writing little short stories. I went to college originally on a drama scholarship. I've just used that experience in more productive areas of my life.

Q- Drama and writing, what other creative outlets do you have?

A - Well, I don't preform any longer, but I do write. I have such an active imagination and an extensive vocabulary that I love to put fiction to paper. I've dabbled in interior design, but in this day and age with Home and Garden TV and countless design magazines, everyone is an armature designer. I am very crafty, though. But, I can scrap book with the best of them and set up a ball room for a formal wedding, and if push comes to shove, I can make 5 bridesmaids flower bouquets in less than an hour. Just don't ask me paint you a picture, take a good picture of you, or sing you a song!

Q- Do you have any goals set for yourself this year?

A - I have recently found a joy for cooking. I'm a Rachel Ray sort of cook: no measuring and put it out in less than 30 minutes. I want to learn some new recipes all the while losing weight. I also have it in mind to write a guide of gift giving. My love language is giving and I get it honestly from my grandmother and mother. I have lists and lists of ides of gifts for any budget exchanged between a vast combination of people. For example, I think a perfect gift for a set of hostesses at a baby shower is to give a new mother gift credit with In the Moment for any baby package of their choice. Or for a parents 30 year wedding anniversary, I think all the children and grand children should schedule a family portrait session with In the Moment and give the parents a beautiful gallery wrap for their living room. LOL. I've thought about writing a blog on it; maybe I should actively look into that.

Q- So are you excited to work with Steve and Laurie?

A - I am! This is what I love to do and what I'm good at. To be able to work for such great people and get involved with the community is thrilling to me.

Another life begins...

I love weddings! There is something magical about the fact that for an entire day the world stops and revolves around one couple and their love for each other. I especially love it when I pick up on things that make me know a couple has a special bond. That was the way it was with A and J! I knew it when we took their engagement pictures and they laughed non-stop! But when I saw how a nervous bride began to glow when she saw her husband, how calm she became, I knew. I knew that this couple is what love is about: they are stronger together then as individuals and that is a sign of a good marriage. Steve and I wish you the best!! We hope that you are always better together than apart!!!!

How far behaind can one girl get I ask you???? Apparently pretty far behind. Christmas knocked me right onto my behind - and between that and our children being sick, my being sick 3 seperate times and then Steve sick just intime for Christmas...well there you have it. Anyway in October we had our first beach shoot at St. George Island and Destin Beach. It was wonderful!! We were even luck enough to get a family portrait for ourselves as well. Here is part one of what will definately end up being an annual traddition. We will book early for next year as the slots filled up very quickly this year!!!!

She is still just as precious in her tutu...and if any of you know me at all you know how partial I am to tutus (especially since I told my two they could be anything they wanted for Halloween as long as it involved a tutu). I love how this job allows me to meet new people all the time. This family is no exception!!! Not only are they all precious but I could set up my studio at there house and be perfectly happy with all of the beautiful places to shoot. There has been a theme emerging in my blog posts lately...They grow so fast...This little one is no exception. I feel like I did her Mommy's maternity session just last week...not to mention her newborn session. and look at her now such a big girl!!!! It is hard to watch because it reminds me of how quickly my two are growing. So if you read this make sure to snuggle a little closer to your little one today and soak in all you can because tomorrow they will come home with a missing tooth...or even worse for you moms of seniors...they go to college. Seniors Close To My Heart

There are several things in my life that make me glad I am a photographer. One of them is when I am privilledged enought to take portraits of families that are close to my heart. This is one of those cases. This young man gives me an extremem hope for the future. His head and his heart are in the right place and I pray that he will continue to follow God in his life and I know he will go so far. Love in the Rain

One of the best parts of my job is getting to see how an entire family fits together. I first met A when she came with her sister to have pictures taken of her niece (who actually is on of my new MAM's models and will have her portrait on the wall - as soon as I can frame it without injuring myself) - and when she called me the day after she go engaged I found myself just as excited - She and J came for engagement portraits with her parents so I added on even more - Well after shooting this precious couple ...in the rain no less I have to say I CANNOT Wait until their wedding!!!!!

Sassy Seniors

There are certain Seniors that people look forward to photograping. It may be because they are beautiful inside and out and it truly shows in pictures, or it may be because the person themselves are very special to them. Both are the case with this senior. M has sucha rare mix of beauty on the inside and out - her love for riding is evident and her comfort level her at the barn is amazing to me. It seems like a home away from home for her. But the best part of taking M' sportraits is that she is one of my best friend's children. Seeing her through her eyes truly makes her beauty stand out. Thanks M - it was a blast!!!!!

Working Parent Syndrome

I am going to share a very personal part of my life with you right now...I suffer from WPS. I go to work 5 days a week in a very wonderul but hectic environment and then come home, do homework, do laundry, (Steve does cook dinner - thank goodness), baths, nighttime sticker charts, and put the girls to bed. Then I start my second job - which if you are on this blog you know what that is. My second job also takes many nights and weekends. I will be honest - it has been getting to me lately. My oldest (and most manipulative) child has figured this out so her new favorite complaint is "you are always working" N omatter how hard I tried to show her all the time we spent together - she still complained so in order to make it very visual we marked off a day on the calendar to be family day, with a specific project in mind...building a tree house. Well today was that day and I wanted to share with you our tree house. It is not the Thajma Hall - but the girls love it and they especially love that they "helped" build it(and it does have a cool slide exit). Anyway I wanted to say thank you to those of you who are so very patient with me when things get crazy...Sometimes we all need to just schedule a day...and by the way yes that is permanent marker on my little one's face...so much for trying to sleep in for one morning!!!!

Getting Everything Perfect...

Does this ever happen to you? Not me...I try so hard to get things just so and it never seems to stay that way (I am sure it has nothing to do with the 2 little tornadoes that live in my world) Well I met someone who did!!!! F and B wedding was truly perfect!!!!! Everything from the weather to the church to the beautiful job they did on the Grady Cultural Center to the incredible food, even down to our picture schedule (they were actually ready for picture early). And the most important part was how much they seem perfect for each other. I know they will spend a lifetime realizing what a special blessing they have in each other. We were just so lucky to be part of this extremely fun and happy day!!!!! Thanks guys!!!!!

L was so great when he came out to do his Senior pictures. He was alot of fun but the funniest part is that he had to do all his modeling while his brothers played around him...a shot for L...a shot of all the guys...but i worked not only were we able to get awesome Senior Shots of him but in the process we got great shots of the two little ones as well...A model and an entertainer!!!! Becoming man and wife

I love weddings!!! I especially love brides!!!! It seems that I always seem to get the kindest sweetest brides to work with, no bridezillas for me!!!! But what I think I love the most about a wedding day is watching the magical moment when a couple stops being individuals and become one. I can tell you the exact moment I saw it with R and M. With out going into too much detail before the wedding was quite a stressful time for the bride...but she managed beautifully. However after the wedding, in the back room where very few people get to be I saw it. She completely let go and a total peace came over her as she came to understand that any other issues that came that day would be faced with her husband by her side. Of course there were no other stressful moments but it was very clear to me that this couple depends on each other greatly. Thanks you R and M for allowing Steve and I a chance to be part of your day as it was a precious reminder of why we are married as well. We pray that you too will have the love and joy we found as well!!!! And here is a sneak peak...

A Ballerina and a Musician

So I never play favorites right? Well that is not entirely true. If you are my best friend and your daughters are beautiful ...maybe I play a little bit of favorites. However, in playing favorites everyone else benefits as well. I know this never happens to any of you but my best friend had a hard time choosing which pictures to buy so...tada...we created custom consultations for this purpose. C and I sat down looked through all the pictures together and picked out portraits based on several criteria...we were then able to narrow down where each picture would find its final place in her house...none of which included the box they came in!!!!! Then we were even able to come up with a custom product that fit the purpose of the pictures (I will showcase these soon) When it was all said and done we were both trilled with the results. Soooo the moral of the story is...if you have any hesitation of need a little help in the decision process call me and we can sit down and come up with ideas...no pressure...no commitment!!! Yes it is true- It is officail - I am a stalker. I have been shamelessly following serveral people lately and it is time I finally came clean. So here it is...Hi, I am Laurie and I am a blog stalker. I love to read blogs!!!!! I am addicited!!!! So much so I even have them sent to my email for ease and speed. Which blogs do I stalk you may ask...mostly photography ones...tips and tutorials...also some other incredible photograhers I have found along the way - usually the ones with the good stories - and the worst part is I will start with one - hyperlink to another and an hour later I yell at myself!!!!! But I will say this I feel like you all benefit as in my own humble opinion my pictures keep getting better - or atleast they are changing. Ok - so the point to all of this rambling is - I know that there are several of you out there who are the same as I am only you are blog stalking here. I know because I finally figured out google analytics and I can see the numbers every day... I will admit they are not huge numbers but we do not live in a huge area - we are a small communtiy so small is fine with me. But here is the thing...I want to know how I can make your addiction worthwhile. I have though of offering some specials available only to those who check the blog or even running a blog contest every so often... but if I am wrong and the stalkers are only my family and my best friend - Hey Tanya - then what's the use? So leve a comment here over the next week or so and let me know you are out there and tell me what other things you would like to see on the blog. Would you like more personal stories - or less stories - more background on the clients and their story - product offereings - giveaways - what is it? Thanks ahead of time... we want to be as good as we can be at what we do... (who knows maybe our firs giveaway will start with this post)

Ok I have no idea who was more fun - J her mom or her dad. Bless her heart. It is hard enough having to be a perfect model when the paparatzi lights keep flashing in your face, but when you dad is making cracks every 2 seconds. But J was AWESOME!!!!! and her smile can light up an entire room. We are so lucky to have such great seniors!!! Congrats J!!!!!!

I know I talk about all the things I love - and lately I have been on quite a baby kick - but I have to say I AM SO HAPPY IT IS SENIOR TIME AGAIN!!!!! I love how awesome our seniors are - I do not know how we do it - but each year we seem to get the best looking guys and girls aroud. This young man is absolutly no exception - I was lucky enough to photograph his baby sister - who was a awesome model herself - but now I know where she gets it!!!!!! I have seen the signs all around Cairo that say just that...I Love this Chrch!!!! And to be honest I did have an idea why people were saying this. However, after photographing the enitre staff for their new updated web page portraits I know for sure why people are saying that. This group of people obviously loves each other very much and it shows. Steve and I had such fun photographing them and can't wait to see the launch of their new website. So I always knew how beautiful this young lady was - but pregnant it is even more true! She was quite the model and I am thrilled she let us play - The best part - she was actually in labor while we were shooting - luckily with first babies it can take days - but nonetheless, you would never know it - she was a trooper all night - and did I mention the heels - She is amazing!!!!!! And once again as I am late posting baby C is here and she is beautiful - Wait until you see her pictures - they are amazing!!!!!!

The best part and the worst part of my job is definately watching babies grow up. I love how they turn in to little people but it all seems to happen to quickly!!!!! ANyway - this little man is now 1- He gets cuter and cuter each time - but boy how they grow - take a quick peek to back to when I first met him and you will see what I mean.

It is such a joy when I get to watcha pregnancy develop over the entire 9months. A is a teacher at my daughter's school. Every morning when I would walk my little one to school I would get to see this new mommy literally take shape!!!! She also went through a few of the same issues I did with my first child so she is near and dear to my heart. She looked radiant in these pictures and I am tickled that I got the chance to take them - And the best part of my being behind on posting is I can announce... Baby E is here and as beautiful as can be - I cannot wait to play with her next week...I be sure and post those as well!!!

Murphey's Law for weddings...

If everything that can go worng does go wrong at your wedding...then your marriage is destined to be wonderful!!! (Well it may not be an exact translation...but it is close.) B and C had planned the most beautiful and special wedding ever. Every detail was hand picked or handmade for this outdoor southern wedding. The flowers were all placed in her grandmother's antique glassware, drinks were served in mason jars with coordinating ribbon, the Mand M's even matched the color sceme, and as a last detail all the water bottles were made to match. So of course something (or even things)had to happen to make this wedding feel equal to all the rest of ours. The best part though...All things work together for good!!! B and C did not let any disater even take away from a single memory. In 10 years they may even laugh about some of it (well maybe 20 years). Here are the highlights...

How excited are we? The owners of Hype Strype, a wholesale gift company located here in Pelham are featured this quarter in the current issue of Gift Shop Magazine. We were thrilled that customers all over would learn what we already know...their personalized note cards and accessories are as fun as they are practical. Infact, there are several times in your experience with In the Moment Photography and Design that you will receive an item from them. Anyway to make a long story even longer they asked us to shoot a picture to submit for the issue in which they were to be featured. Well I have to admit I did not want to share with most of you thaT we were entering our first print competion - yes I know it is probably becuase I am so competetive (even though my mom tried with all her heart to teach me otherwise :-) Anyway - I forgot that when you do ANYTHING on Facebook EVERYONE can see it. SO here I was trying to keep a secret in the most public of places...Anyway we did not win - however we did make the favorites slideshow!!! That's not so bad right? I was tickled we got recognized - so check it out here!!! And so you know here is the picture we entered... Yes these are two favorite clients (and my two least favorite!!!!) This couple is so very special to me - the groom and I were high school friend - I have watched him meet many a girl and never felt like he had found "the one" until now. The bride S. is as beautiful on the inside as on the out. She is it. I am so thrilled we got to be there - and no not just because who wouldn't want to be at beach wedding - but what a thill to watch a life begin!!!! Thanks S and D for changing everything around so we could be there - It meant the world to us. (part 2 to follow)

Another answered prayer

I think one of the first blog posts I ever wrote was about a baby that Steve and I had specifically prayed to come. It was a very moving and humbling experience to photograph and actual answer to our prayers. This baby is somewhat different. Not only were Steve and I praying for this baby to come but our oldest daughter has been praying "that God would put a baby in Miss T's tummy" for several years. Well he is almost here and we cannot wait to touch another answer to prayer in the flesh!!!!!

It is sad that Steve and I had to actually spend money and a full night at a seminar to learn the most amazing photography trick we have found!!!! Smarties!!!!!! Who knew - but this little one was proof positive that kids will truly do just about ANYTHING for a piece of candy - I just feel bad for his poor parents when we sent him home - hopefully he didn't have too bad of a sugar high!!!!! He sure is cute though isn't he? Oh yeah - his parents are not half bad either!!!!

Sweet baby time

So one thing Steve and I do often get the chance to photograph is very little newborns. Many times parents wait until a bay is almost three months old before they call for portraits. Although that is not a bad thing, 3 months is a great time to take portrtaits (well ant time is :-) But there is nothing like newborn sleeping baby pictures. The best time is from 2-4 weeks old and for these special portraits we will come to your house so we do not disturb the baby's sleep pattern. This little one was was just over 4 weeks old and she is adorble. I had to include the tounge sticking out as it was to cute. Welsome to the world little one!!!!!!

The Joy and the Pain

I cannot believe how quickly this little guy is changing right in front of me!!! Steve and I both prayed for him to even to make it into this world and we were thrilled when we took those first pictures with him so little and Mommy and Daddy so very proud - and every 3 months J has come back to let us capture his growth. We even got to attend his precious birthday party back in November. Now look at him. He is officially a big boy!!! He is so handsome - and such a boy. He was all over the farm as busy as could be but by some bit of grace we were able to capture magic!!! Oh the joy and the pain of photographying little ones!!!

So I know there are some people who love it when someone comes in and says...I haveno preconcieved notions of what I want...just be creative!!!!! And while it can be fun to have complete control the opposite of that is R and C, well....R! She has every detail of her special day planned out. I cannot wait until May to see her creative celebration come to life!!!!!!! This couple is so much fun to be around and I find myself feeling more like one of their friends rather than the "hired help." I pray that we will capture every little detail that they carefully planned and excuted in May...even down to the specific colored M&M's.

There is nothing better than forming a relationship with our clients. JB is no expection in fact she is the rule!!!!!!! We first met JB when shooting her son's senior pictures (CLick Here to remember). Then she gave us the opportunity to do one of our favorite project's ever... The Union Grove baptist Church CLown Troupe. I have not blogged those pictures yet as I was waiting on the calendars to be delivered. (I will put them on M's list to blog here soon) Then right before Christmas she calls to say my entire family will be together for a brief moment in time - can you come by and take a picture. What she failed to mention is that I would gain atleast 3 poinds from the plate of food she "made" us take home. The carmel cake was to die for!!!!!!! Anyway... here is the picture Miss J. I hope it will be a keepsake. We usually proof our pictures on DVD now but I am going to leave this one on the blog. This way all the family can access it. It is such a joy to photograph people that you sorta know- and then when you are done you feel like you have known them forever!!!! Well this is certainly the case with this family for me (of course they already knew Steve forever so he doesn't count) We had so much fun going around with this family and as you can tell Miss H has decided on a career in modeling. She had the looks down , while big brother J just wanted us to finish. Unfortunately for him this family session was also doubling as senior session. His pictures (which I am in love with!!!!) will follow in a day or two!!!!

The Ma'ams Girls

I am so excited to post this blog about two of the sweetest little girls I have ever had the chance to photograph. Thier momma has become one of my favorite people as she has opened the most adorable children clothing shop around. I know you have read about it on the blog... Ma'ams. It is located in downtown Cairo and is a fabulous place to find the most adorable children's clothes. On a side note... if your child is wearing a Ma'ams outfit when they are photographed let me know and I will send it to Kristi for use as a model shot for the store.

Anyway... we had soooo much fun taking pictures on New Year's Eve. The girls laughed and laughed and I had a very hard time narrowing down her pictures as I loved them all!!!!! Anyway it is only fitting that L and M model their mom's clothes the best!!!!!

Can it get any cuter than this? Sweet baby J was ready for her 1 yer shots so she brought in big sister K and her sweet dog B - Yes I know I do not have to protect the dog's identity but I really just don't know how to spell his name :-) Anyway they were all fabulous - lots of giggles and smiles! I love the relationship that shows between K and J - they love each other alot and it was all over their faces. It was also neat to do these pictures as big sister cut off all her hair into the sassiest bob ever and looks atleast 3 years older now! I am so glad we were able to capture her at this phase before it was over. And what could make this group even cuter - adding a new baby very soon! We can't wait to photograph the newest member of the family soon!!!!

This way your eyes can rest because everything is pretty much the same - We have done the web page and our on-line proofing (which we use for weddings and out of town functions) an now it is onto the blog...
